Days 1-3

Victoria Falls

Ease yourself into the African way of life with two days exploring 'The Smoke That Thunders' from the beautiful Palm River Hotel.

During your stay

There is so much to explore in and around Victoria Falls. The waterfall itself is the main draw, wandering the footpaths and main lookout points. There's a plethora of adrenaline activities to choose from such helicopter flights and rafting, or more sedate river cruises at both sunrise and sunset.

Days 3-5

Chobe National Park

This morning you will be transferred across to Kasane and onto Chobe for the start of your epic Botswana adventure. You will begin with two nights of luxury and superb guiding from Chobe Game Lodge.

During your stay

In the mornings head out into the park with your guide, the unique location of the lodge makes access really easy so you can cover as much ground as possible. Return to the lodge to unwind by the pool during the heat of the day and take to the water in the afternoon for a sunset boat cruise.

Days 5-10

Savuti

Your 4x4 vehicle will be delivered to your lodge this morning and, after stocking up with provisions in Kasane, you will begin your epic self-drive adventure through the Okavango Delta.

Over the next five nights you will be camping your way through the Savute and into the Khwai Community Reserve in the delta itself. Nights will be spent in your rooftop tent, within a designated campsite. With every night you will become more and more accustomed to spotting leopards by day and listening out for the distant roar of lions at night.

Self-drive safaris

These few days of self-drive are completely flexible, explore at your own pace as you navigate the sandy roads, cross rickety wooden bridges and enjoy your private wildlife sightings.

Days 10-12

Moremi Game Reserve

After five nights exploring the delta in your own vehicle, its time to balance out the experience with a bit of luxury. Make your way into the Moremi Game Reserve for two nights in a comfortable camp where you can sit back and enjoy guided safaris and let somebody else do the cooking.

During your stay

From here you will be able to head out to explore the myriad delta channels by boat as well as on game drives, returning to the comfort of the lodge at night.

Days 13-15

Makgadikgadi Pans

To round off this trip, its time for something completely different as you leave the delta behind and swap it for the vast barren landscape of the salt pans.

During your stay

Join the Zu/’hoasi Bushmen on bush walks, head out on guided game drives and night drives to discover the desert, admire the meerkats, or simply round off your holiday with your feet up in this incredible setting.

Day 15

Departure

As your incredible journey comes to a close, you'll drive back to Maun where you will hand back the keys to your 4x4 at the airport before boarding your flight home.
