## Frequently asked questions

### What should I take on safari?

If you are taking light aircraft anywhere you will be limited on the amount of luggage you can take and it will have to be in a soft-sided bag, so we're afraid its not a case of a new outfit for every day! All camps and lodges offer a laundry service though, so its surprisingly easy to pack a holiday's worth of clothing into a relatively small bag.

The key things to remember are muted/neutral colours for safari, comfortable shoes, a sun hat and a warm layer. Those early mornings can be deceptively cold until the sun comes up.

We'll provide a comprehensive packing list before you travel with specifics for the destination you're visiting and we're always around to answer any packing quandaries.

### What is included in the price of a safari?

As a general rule a safari is fully inclusive which means all meals, drinks and shared activities are included. Most places will draw a line at the premium brand spirits but things like a gin & tonic or an after dinner tipple by the fire will be included. Other things like laundry are also generally included but in places it might be limited to a certain number of items per day.

Park fees, conservation levies and local taxes are also normally included, the only time you may need to pay any of these is if you are self-driving into a reserve when you have to pay a self-drive entry free.
