Furnished with treasures and trinkets collected from around the globe, this Franschhoek guesthouse is an eclectic mix of the worldly owners and creative duo, who proudly breathed new life into this refurbished farmhouse.

The luxury of 7 Koppies is a sense of being remote and fully immersed in unsurpassable natural surrounds, all the while having the option to access the Cape Winelands at a moment's notice. The exclusive guesthouse is set within 50 hectares of pristine fynbos on a privately owned piece of land within a working farm.

With five individually designed, luxury rooms of various sizes and category types, as well as our private ‘Rockwood Private Pool Cottage’, just a 5-minute walk down a winding mountain path, there’s something on offer for everyone at 7 Koppies.

For every room (exc. Rockwood Cottage) guests tend to gravitate towards the shared, central spaces that spill out onto the feature pool and discover yet more options for outdoor relaxation and *al fresco* dining at its finest.

**WHEN TO VISIT**

**No matter the season, Franschhoek dazzles with dining delights, award-winning wines, tranquillity and a backdrop to boot.**

Franschhoek experiences a Mediterranean sort of climate with hot, dry summers and cool, wet winters. The area is temperate, with the hottest months in January and February and the coldest months in June and July. If dry weather is what you’re after for your next Franschhoek holiday, plan to visit between December and March and avoid booking a trip from June to August. The spring and summer months more or less guarantee perfect weather for outdoor activities and alfresco dining under the Southern Cross. If a glass of red wine next to a roaring fire sounds more like your idea of paradise, the winter months between May and September are generally much quieter in Franschhoek. The Cape has its own special charm in the wet, winter months – perfect for hot, hearty meals, big reds and gallery crawling.
