Set across a sprawling 150-acre site, the lodge offers stunning views of the Rwenzori Mountains, the Queen Elizabeth plains, and the Kazinga Channel, which is frequented by hippos and connects Lakes Edward and George.

## Activities list

Spend the morning exploring the lively chimp families of Kibale Forest, known as the Primate Capital of the World.

This one-of-a-kind opportunity allows only six guests each day to spend up to four hours with a group of up to 70 chimps and learn firsthand from the chimp biologists studying them.

Enjoy guided walks on the site's trails that attract over 100 bird species including the exquisite Ross’s Turaco and Black Crowned Waxbill.

Contribute to the rewilding of the 150-acre Kibale site by visiting the tree nursery on the edge of Lake Lugembe and planting an indigenous tree seedling.

A stunning 3-4 hour forest trek to discover over 200 bird species and 8 primate species including the black and white colobus monkey, blue monkey and the L’Hoest monkey.
