Witness Madagascar’s largest lemur, the Indri Indri, filling the air with its iconic calls. This fascinating species can only thrive in the wild, living in family groups amidst the towering trees. Also, keep your eyes peeled for other unique lemurs like the playful Eulemur fulvus, the tiny Microcebus, and the elusive Lepilemurs.

The Mitsinjo Reserve, located in Andasibe, Madagascar, spans 2.7 square miles of lush rainforest. Established in 1999, the reserve offers various walking trails where you can spot unique wildlife like tree frogs, indris, and diademed sifakas.

Explore the charming village of Andasibe, where you’ll find a vibrant community of around 5,000 people. As you walk through the narrow, unpaved streets, you’ll pass colourful market stalls and catch glimpses of daily life. Meet locals, see their traditional crafts, and learn how they make a living.
