## Profile

Mpala Jena Camp is located on a private concession within the Zambezi National Park. Overlooking a beautiful stretch of the Zambezi River shoreline, three vast tented suites and two 2-bedroom family tents are positioned under the dappled shade of a mixture of indigenous trees.

This luxurious lodge has Relais & Chateaux status, so guests can expect exemplary attention to detail, impeccable service and some of the finest food and wine to be sampled in Zimbabwe.

The camp is named after the natural spring-line, Mpala Jena, which runs through the centre of the concession, and which attracts an abundance of wildlife throughout the year, particularly during the drier months.

## Profile

Each suite has a shaded, private veranda area and en-suite bathroom facilities, including both an indoor and outdoor shower as well as a beautiful bathtub.

The property is conveniently located 16 kilometres inside the Zambezi National Park which makes for easy access to Victoria Falls town, but is far enough away from the hustle and bustle, allowing guests to relax and unwind whilst enjoying an incredible setting amidst the wild habitat of the Zambezi National Park.

## Activities list

This area is particularly good for bird watching throughout the year, but with a higher diversity of species during the months November through to April.

Venture up and down the Zambezi on morning or afternoon boat cruises (subject to water level and seasonality), either in a motorised boat or under sail in a traditional dhow,

The Zambezi National Park has a healthy and ever increasing number of wildlife species, with higher concentrations of buffalo and elephant during the months June through to October.

Just a 40-minute boat ride away is the thunderous and impressive mass of falling water of Victoria Falls. A guided tour of the Falls can be arranged.
