At Shinde Footsteps Camp, you're not just a guest; you're a part of an immersive safari experience like no other. Consisting of just four tents (including one family tent), Shinde Footsteps is small, relaxed and focused on introducing you to the magical wilderness of the Okavango Delta.

Courtesy of its location Shinde can offer both water and land activities year-round.

## Profile

Motorboats or mokoro provide a chance to experience the incredible bird, plant and reptile species found in the aquatic habitat of the Okavango Delta. Game drives are conducted by a personal guide in comfortable, specially designed game drive vehicles. For the more adventurous, guided walks are also available while fishing enthusiasts will enjoy fishing for a variety of species such as tilapia and tigerfish.

## Activities list

Spot a wide array of animals, including elephant, red lechwe, wild dog, lions, leopards, hyena, tsessebe, kudu, zebra, and giraffe. The diverse habitat also provides a haven for numerous bird species and some special semi-aquatic species such as sitatunga.

Take to the water either by motorboat or a gentle-paced mokoro

Fishing is available throughout the year (with exception of January & February), with excellent bream fishing from May to September and good chances of landing tigerfish during September to mid-November.

Walking is the highlight of a ‘true’ safari experience, and no special training is required, as the focus is on exploration and discovery – tracking fresh spoor each morning to reveal the previous night’s events makes it a memorable safari adventure.
