Opened in May 2024, Tawana was designed to integrate seamlessly with the lush forests and grasslands that border the banks of the perennial Gomoti River, combining the romance of a contemporary safari camp with amazing safari experiences.

## Profile

Tawana features 8 spacious suites, including three family rooms, each designed to be a sanctuary of comfort. The suites span approximately 100 square metres (130 square metres for family units) and include a separate lounge area, private terrace, and refreshing plunge pool. The outdoor sala offers a peaceful spot to unwind between excursions.

Drawing inspiration from the organic tones and textures of the landscape and the rich cultural heritage of the local Batawana tribe, Tawana seamlessly blends stylish, contemporary design with a distinct sense of place, creating an unforgettable safari destination.

Explore the beautiful landscape of the Moremi Game Reserve; a lush tapestry of shimmering lagoons, shallow pans, mopane woodlands and grassy floodplains. Enjoy remarkable sightings of antelope, predators, birds, large herbivores, and the lesser-known residents of the Delta.

The Okavango is known for its wonderful birdlife, with 400 bird species recorded in the Moremi.
