## A Partnership For Lasting Change

We're thrilled to announce our partnership with**[Ele-Collection](https://www.elecollection.co/)**, an incredible organisation that is combatting the huge issue of plastic pollution in Southern Africa. This is extremely close to our hearts, and we're eager to dive in and make a real impact.

## Why We Chose Ele-Collection

The main reason why we chose to support this impactful project is not only because we’re passionate about their work, but also because our involvement can make a genuine difference. Knowing our support can drive real change really motivates us to keep pushing forward.

### Ele-Collection's Mission

Ele-Collection aims to create a scalable and sustainable solution to the plastic pollution problem plaguing Southern Africa’s ecologically sensitive areas. Their immediate goal is to clean up Victoria Falls Town and the surrounding National Parks. This mission is just the beginning, as they plan to extend their efforts to the entire KAZA Region.

### The Solution

Ele-Collection is building a community-driven effort to tackle this vast issue. Their strategy involves a comprehensive approach to closing the plastic loop. They act as a driving force for collecting plastic waste, removing it from the environment and recycling it into products that protect communities and ecosystems.

### Why This Matters

Tourism in Victoria Falls generates*significant*plastic waste, with nearly 800,000 visitors each year contributing to the problem. Ele-Collection plans to address both tourism and residential plastic, ensuring that this stunning region is left in a better state for future generations.

### Making a Difference with Plastic Pledges

As part of this partnership, we’re introducing an optional $20 per person plastic pledge onto all future Bonamy trips. Each pledge will fund**the removal of 50kg of plastic from the environment**, which will then be turned into building aggregate and recyclable plastic pellets. Our support for Ele-Collection is not just a drop in the ocean; it’s a commitment to driving real change.
