Days 1 - 4

Noordhoek, Cape Town

Arriving at Cape Town Airport, you'll be met and transferred to the sunny & quiet neighbourhood of Noordhoek to spend three nights as a family with direct access to the beach and all of the highlights of Cape Town on your doorstep.

It is known for its stunning scenery, with long stretches of beach and towering mountains in the background. Noordhoek is a popular destination for surfers, horse riders, and hikers, with plenty of trails to explore. The town is also home to several restaurants and cafes, offering delicious food and breathtaking views.

During your stay

A hidden path provides direct access to Long Beach - an adventure lover's dream. Swim, paddle, walk, run, surf, paraglide and horse ride.

Return to the comfort of the villa and the gorgeous views extending over the Atlantic Ocean. Rinse off the sugary sand in the outdoor shower before taking a dip in the sparkling swimming pool, hugged by the sun-drenched wraparound wooden deck.

Days 4 - 7

Overberg

A driver will collect you and transfer you along the coast to your next fantastic stop on the banks of a lagoon. There is so much to do here, it's a haven of fun and games for all ages.

The Overberg has rugged mountain ranges, fynbos, rolling wheat and canola fields, and splendid coastal vistas. This is the place to reflect, discover, and maybe even have the adventure of a lifetime.

Once on the other side of the mountain, you will find a myriad of roads into the Overberg where the land, mountains, sea, and people tell their own story.

During your stay

Whether a sedentary nature lover, or more active and looking to paddle, cycle, or swim, or just a foodie wanting to explore the gastronomic wonders and charming streetscapes of nearby Stanford village, guests will find the perfect activity to suit their preference.

Activities include fat-biking, guided bird walks, stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, sailing (for the experienced only), and self-guided nature walks. Additionally, there are various lawn games available to use (boules, volleyball, tug-of-war, slip-and-slide); table tennis and board games are available at the Clubhouse. A three-hour beach excursion into the Walker Reserve can be booked on the property at an additional cost.

Days 7 - 10

Madikwe Game Reserve

You'll be transferred to Cape Town Airport for your flight to Johannesburg from where a driver will transfer you north into Madikwe Game Reserve, a fantastic malaria-free safari area, where you have exclusive use of a house to plan your safari days as you wish.

This is one of few reserves with consistent viewing of the endangered African wild dog, as well as elephant, leopard, lion, rhino, antelope, and hundreds of bird species, including the large kori bustard. Sunset is a great time to see animals gathering at Madikwe Dam to drink.

During your stay

Thanks to the exclusive-use concept at Morukuru Family Madikwe guests have total freedom to decide when they want to go out for a game drive, with no fixed schedules. And children of all ages can join as well. Adults (16 and older) can also go on Big-5 game walks, for children under 16 it is possible to do a guided nature walk in a fenced-in safe area. Other activities include fishing in the Marico River, bush meals, romantic sleep-outs and - at costs - massage treatments and interactive African drumming lessons.

DAY 10
