Almost without fail, the number one highlight for all of our guests is how much they fell in love with the continent's people, and their diverse cultures.
Learning about the traditions and customs of local communities is of paramount importance when travelling anywhere.
Throughout Africa, this can be done in many ways:
Community Visits
Visiting a community as a tourist, whether in a city or a rural environment, should always be done in a respectful and non-voyeuristic manner.
We’re incredibly lucky to work alongside a number of community projects throughout Africa. Your visit will add positive value to the project you are learning about, as well as to you.

Historical
Africa is where humanity originated, so, understandably, there is a huge amount of history to discover in all corners of the continent!
Africa has also played host to a rich diversity of modern history. Some of the lodges and camps that we work alongside specialise in running historical tours of specific areas, and are truly fascinating. Well worth including in any itinerary to the area!
