Day 1 - 5

Ngaga Camp

Landing into Brazzaville this morning, you'll change planes and make the short hop into the heart of Congo Basin.

Your home for the next four nights will the stunning treehouse-style Ngaga Camp. You'll spend your mornings tracking western lowland gorilla with the research team, while in the afternoon and after nightfall you will discover the lush forest searching for the abundant wildlife.

Day 5 - 8

Lango Camp

On your fifth day you will move across to the beautiful Lango Camp via a traditional pirogue boat excursion on the Lekoli River. You'll spend three nights here.

Spend your time in the afternoon at camp admiring the elephants and buffalo come and go from the marshy baï in front of camp, or immerse yourself deeper into the forest on foot as enormous flocks of parrots and green pigeon flit about above your head.

Day 8 - 11

Mboko Camp

Spend your last morning taking in the incredible scenes walking through the baï before you are transferred though the forest to Mboko Camp for three nights overlooking a tributary of the Lekoli River.

Situated in an area of lush meadow-like savannah, frequented by forest buffalo, forest elephant and spotted hyaena, Mboko Camp gives a sense of the scale of Odzala while also allowing you to focus on some of the smaller details: flowers and butterflies.

Day 11
