Days 1-4

Hwange National Park

You begin your adventure at Victoria Falls Airport where you will be met and shown to your flight into the African wilderness.

Your first destination will be Hwange National Park. Renowned for its abundant wildlife, including elephants, lions, leopards, and a vast array of bird species. The park offers breathtaking landscapes with diverse habitats, including grasslands, woodlands, and water sources.

During your stay

Senses are awakened on game drives, bush walks, bird watching excursions and cultural visits. The armchair safari at Somalisa Expeditions is a glorious way to while away an afternoon, as elephants pass by for a drink from the swimming pool.

Days 4-7

Mana Pools National Park

After three nights in Hwange, you will fly north to the world famous Mana Pools for another three nights on safari in this park of scenic floodplains, lush riverine forests bordered by the Zambezi River.

During your stay

With unique access to the Zambezi River, your days will be filled with adventurous canoeing safaris, tracking game along the shorelines by foot, and game drives through the heart of Mana Pools.

Day 7

Departure

As your time on safari comes to an end, you will be flown to Harare Airport for your onward flight.

If you wanted to extend your holiday, this trip is ideal to combine with time exploring other parts of Zimbabwe such as Victoria Falls, Matopos or even a few days down in Cape Town.
