Cape Cadogan Boutique Hotel

Cape Cadogan Boutique Hotel is authentic Cape Town at its loveliest – beauty, sophisticated charm and quirky personality in equal measure. Set just off the buzzing Kloof Street in a scenic suburb of Cape Town, you can live like a local and still be treated as our guest.

In respect of facilities, you have at your disposal the lounge and breakfast room which have been carefully considered to provide every creature comfort without sparing on the fine detail. What’s your pleasure? A game of chess or cards, a book from our library, or perhaps lounging at the poolside? You may even choose to get in touch with the world from time to time, and are welcome to use our Wi-Fi from the comfort of your room or any of the public areas.

Each of the fifteen bedrooms has been individually decorated, marrying a touch of yesteryear with contemporary chic and bohemian influence.

The choice of room at Cape Cadogan is largely dependent on your personal preference and budget. Regardless of room category, comfort is never compromised, and the warmth of the charming environment seeps its way through to every corner.

Should you prefer a more private leisure experience or should you be travelling with children under the age of 10, you may wish to consider More Quarters Hotel, located just a stone’s throw away from Cape Cadogan. 23 Luxury Rooms offer privacy, without compromising on the service and personal attention you would expect of a five star boutique hotel.

Time your visit with South Africa’s Weather

Having such a diverse climate, South Africa is a fantastic country to visit all year round - it just depends on what you want to see.

With its typical Southern Hemisphere climate, the best time to visit Cape Town and the Winelands is in the summer between November and March.

The safari regions in the north traditionally experience summer showers between November and February, this can however be the best time for birding. The best time to visit for superb big game viewing is during the winter months between May and September.

To combine a visit to both areas, the best time to visit is during one of the shoulder seasons between Apr/May or Sep/Oct.

If you plan to whale-watch, the best time to visit South Africa would be between July and November during their annual migration from Antarctica to Mozambique. Peak calving season is during July and August.
