Duba Plains Camp sits in the heart of Botswana’s Okavango Delta, a vast 77,000-acre private reserve known for its breathtaking landscapes of floodplains, islands, and woodland.

Designed by conservationists Dereck and Beverly Joubert, the camp captures the essence of a classic 1920s African safari while offering modern comforts that blend seamlessly with the natural surroundings.

Duba Plains features five beautifully designed tents and the exclusive two-bedroom Duba Plains Suite. Each tent is elevated on reclaimed railway sleepers, offering uninterrupted views of the surrounding floodplains where wildlife, from elephants to lions, roams freely. With private plunge pools, outdoor salas, and en-suite facilities that include both indoor and outdoor showers, every detail is crafted for luxury and immersion.

The main area includes a raised dining room, lounge, wine cellar, and library, providing space to connect or unwind. The Duba Plains Suite adds an extra layer of exclusivity with its own private game vehicle, guide, chef, and butler.

Often referred to as the Okavango’s Maasai Mara, Duba Plains is renowned for its remarkable wildlife sightings, thanks to the pristine ecosystem and Great Plains Conservation’s exclusive operation within the concession.

Beyond the safari, the camp supports local communities through conservation-driven partnerships, ensuring the land benefits both people and wildlife.
