Lewa Wilderness is one of Kenya’s oldest private safari experiences. For 40 years guests have been coming to this remarkable region to be part of an adventure like no other. Lewa Wilderness is one of the original family homes and is still home to Will and Emma Craig, who treat all guests as family. Relax by the fire in the cozy sitting room and share meals around a long banquet table in the open-air dining room.
Natural springs, home-raised livestock, and a 5-acre organic garden are transformed by skilled chefs into incredible, healthy and delicious food.
Six cottages are tucked into the hillside overlooking the valley, and three garden cottages are cozy yet expansive are set amongst the beautiful lawn, a lush oasis teeming with colourful bougainvillea and a vast array of birdlife.
And with a new electric game drive vehicle, Lewa is leading the charge in wildlife and environment-friendly game viewing.
