Located in a remote and wild corner of the Kruger National Park, Pafuri Walking Safaris is a seasonal bush camp open between April-October, an invites bush lovers to explore the vast and varied landscape. The area available for exploration is untouched, with very few roads, visitors can walk for hours without seeing another sign of humanity.
As the name suggests, this experience is purely focused on walking, as you venture out each day with your field guide, though varied terrain and ever-changing landscapes.
There are just four relatively simple canvas tents with twin beds and simple furnishings, which is all part of the rustic experience. Each tent has an en suite loo, wash basin and bucket shower to the rear and a seating area to the front.
Pafuri Walking Safaris are best conducted over a minimum of two nights, combined with a few nights at its nearby sister property, Pafuri Tented Camp.
